ADGM's office space requirements

ADGM is governed by three separate bodies: the Registration Authority (RA), the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) and the ADGM Courts. Its corporate regulations are based on the UK Companies Act 2006 and its overall operations are highly regulated.

Regarding the office address, the core rules are as follows:

1. Must be a physical office

the company must always have a physical office space on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. It's not "better to have", it's "must have". At the time of the audit, the ADGM Registry will verify on-site or require verifiable rental documents.

2, do not accept shared desk

this is in line with the requirements of Dubai VARA-both regulators have explicitly rejected the shared workstation model. VARA generally requires at least one desk for every two visas, while ADGM requires at least one desk for every three visas. In other words, you can't have five people crammed into a co-working space with a desk and say you have an office.

It must be an independent and exclusive physical space.
